Maximize Your Spaces studied the need, evaluated the best use of the space not only immediately, but
long term and resale. Obviously the contractors plan met the immediate need for a daycare, but our plan
invested less money and we got more usable spaces for the family.  New laundry, a new bedroom for
Grandpa, and when the owner decides to sell, there is not a “daycare” on the back of the house, but a
“mother-in-law suite” with a private entrance.  FINAL COST OF PROJECT: $54,000
